Micro post! I am just reading old papers on Amerindians and came across this one (Mesa et al., 2000) [1]. Which shows the very interesting tree pictured below:
See how Europeans and Asians cluster together on the left while Amerindians are on the right, in a branch splitting from the junction of Eurasia and Africa... Not the usual East Asia branching into Amerindians is it?
