Ancient map depicting a Succarath

old map showing a Succarath

Detail of a 1635 Map Theatrum Orbis Terrarum.
Showing Patagones and what seems to be a Succarath

This is a small part of the 1635 map Theatrum Orbis Terrarum, in which two Patagones can be seen. Note that Patagonia was named Chica; this intrigued me, so I have done a little research on this matter and posted Here my findings.

Notice the strange animal to their right. It has a long fluffy tail, and seems to be carrying its young on its back.

Could it be a Succarath?

See my previous post on Succarath Here.

  1. Great stuff Austin, many explorers have seen a race of giants ranging from 7 to 12 feet tall in South America from Patagonia to Peru. Some written accounts were kept by Spanish Jesuits having been shown bones of many gigantic skeletons by Inca and other SA tribes of the 17th century where femurs were the size of a man, eye sockets from huge skulls that were the size of a small plate, teeth that were three fingers wide... Today most of these accounts are considered heresy or hoaxes as this challenges the contemporary evolutionary model...

  2. Makes you wonder what the monolithic Easter Island Rapa Nui statues really were... a testimony to an ancient race of dying giants...
