The photograph was taken at Bahía López, on Lake Nahuel Huapi one rainy day in February 2007. At the back is Mount Capilla (2.167 m - 7,104 ft.) which forms the western "corner" where two of the lake's fjords merge (Blest and Tristeza fjords).
Nothing unusual in the image.
However if you look carefully, you will see in the center, something dark jutting out of the lake about 200 meters away (650 ft.).
A long-necked plesiosaur? a clawed fin of some lake creature? Nahuelito?
No. It is only a tree trunk.
Sometimes we see what we want to see. So we should always look at things with a critical eye.
